Antoine Ó Raifteirí (Anthony Raftery)
Blind Mayo poet who travelled Connacht as a fiddler and songmaker. Mise Raifteirí an file and Cill Aodáin were rescued from oral tradition by Lady Gregory and Douglas Hyde and made him the emblem of the Gaelic poet for the Revival generation.
