Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin

Cork-born, Professor Emeritus at Trinity, co-founder of Cyphers. Her poetry is oblique, spatial and hermetic — nuns, sieges, thresholds, buried female histories — and unlike anyone else's. Ireland Professor of Poetry 2016–2019; one of the living Saoithe of Aosdána. Poetry Now Award 2019; Farmgate Award 2024.
