Cookstown, Co. Tyrone; poet and novelist. Feel Free and Up Late, the latter an elegy for his father. The title poem of Up Late won the Forward Prize for Best Single Poem in 2022. Rooney Prize 2005; shortlisted for the T. S. Eliot Prize.
