Seán Hewitt

Born in England to an Irish father, based in Dublin, teaches at Trinity. His memoir All Down Darkness Wide (2022) is about love and grief; the collections Tongues of Fire (2020) and Rapture's Road (2024) fuse desire with the natural world and Irish-language material. Won the Laurel Prize; Rooney Prize 2022.
